• La Noche en Blanco: On the first Friday of October, Seville hosts its annual cultural festival. A whole range of events happen across the city. It’s best to pick up a programme at the Tourist Information Centre to find out what’s on and where. 
• The National Day of Spain – The 12th of October is the National Day of Spain, known as Día de la Hispanidad, commemorating Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas in 1492. While many shops and businesses close, the city buzzes with pop-up events, particularly around the cathedral area.
• Halloween at Isla Mágica: Throughout October, Isla Mágica transforms into a spooky Halloween wonderland. The park is decorated with a spooky theme and there are special shows and attractions.
