You’ll find the taxi rank just outside of arrivals. There are several official taxi companies although make sure you use one which is white with a diagonal yellow stripe on the back doors.
Official taxis charge a flat rate between the airport and Seville city centre – it’s called the “Tarifa Única Aeropuerto“. This rate is used by all the official taxi companies and typically starts at €25.

We get asked how much is an Uber from Seville airport to city centre a lot. The honest answer is, it depends!
- where in the city are you travelling from
- the time of day you want to travel
- the type of service
- how much in demand the service is
It’s really difficult to give an honest answer. We’ve seen the prices start at €13 but we’ve also seen them as high as €38!
Our Advice: Check the price, as soon as you land in Seville, and if it’s anything more than an official taxi, just pick one of these up from the airport instead. The official airport taxis are much more transparent with their pricing system.
2. Pre-booked Private Transfers From Seville Airport
The most convenient option from the airport in Seville to city centre is via a pre-booked transfer service.
You can find a variety of VIP luxury or meet-and-greet transfer services – they can also accommodate larger groups.
By booking a private transfer service, you will be met directly outside of baggage claim in the arrivals hall by a professional driver who will take you straight to your hotel.
This option is ideal for those travelling with heavy luggage or for those who prefer a hassle-free and direct journey to their accommodation without queuing for a regular taxi.
3. Public Transport from Seville Airport
The public transport system in Seville is efficient and well-maintained. This is the most economical option for travellers.
Tickets cost 5 euros for a single journey and can be bought on the bus. You can pay in cash or with a debit card.
There are ticket machines at the airport, however, every time I’ve tried to use them, they’ve been broken – you might have better luck than I’ve ever had. You can also buy an airport bus ticket online.
The airport bus service, or the “Aeropuerto Express”, is the primary public transport link between Seville Airport (SVQ) and the city centre. The service is called EA – Especial Aeropuerto.
The Seville Airport to Seville bus stop is conveniently located outside the airport’s main terminal – it’s well-signposted from the Arrivals Hall. Exit the building, turn right, and keep walking to the end.
The Aerobus timetable operates from 5:20 AM to 1:15 AM. It runs every day of the year approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.
The journey to the city centre takes about 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Key stops include Santa Justa Train Station, San Bernardo Metro Station, and Prado de San Sebastián, all of which are central and well-connected locations.
