14 Seville Rooftop Bars Worth the Climb
1. La Terraza de EME
📍 EME Hotel, Santa Cruz
Highlights:
- Closest rooftop to the cathedral
- Panoramic views from two levels
- One of the busiest spots in the city
- Trendy but pricey
If you’re only going to visit one rooftop bar in Seville and want that postcard view of La Giralda, this is it. La Terraza de EME is right next to the cathedral and offers some of the best panoramic views of the old town, so it’s easy to see why it’s always busy.
The terrace stretches over two levels and is part of the boutique EME Hotel. It’s a stylish space, with sleek seating and a lively atmosphere, especially at sunset. The drinks list includes cocktails, wine, and beer. The prices are higher than average; you are paying for the view.
Because this is one of the best views in Seville, it fills up fast in the evenings, and you might have to queue if you’re not staying at the hotel. Guests, though, get priority seating and access to the rooftop pool.

Good To Know
If you’re visiting in summer, time your arrival well before sunset. It will be sweltering, but at least you’ll be able to nab yourself a seat. Hotel guests can reserve seating, but non-guests can only show up and wait, which at peak time could mean you’re waiting for quite a while.

2. Pura Vida Rooftop
📍 Hotel Los Seises, near the Cathedral
Highlights:
- Laid-back, beachy rooftop bar
- Rooftop pool (various passes available)
- Live music and events in summer
- Popular with a younger crowd
Pura Vida sits just a few minutes’ walk from the cathedral but feels like a different world. It’s part of Hotel Los Seises and has more of a beach bar vibe: think wooden deck furniture, string lights, and mojitos rather than martinis.
It’s a fun rooftop, especially in the warmer months when the small rooftop pool opens for non-guests during the day. You can book various passes, with their breakfast and pool pass starting at €55 a person. You get a sun lounger, a towel, pool access, and buffet breakfast.
At night, the vibe shifts. There’s often a DJ or live music, and it gets lively without being rowdy. It’s not the spot for a quiet drink, but great if you’re looking for something casual and social.

Plan for This
Pool passes are limited and not available year-round. Check with the hotel or drop by earlier in the day to grab a spot.

3. La Terraza at Hotel Inglaterra
📍 Plaza Nueva
Highlights:
- Wide rooftop with views across the city
- Mix of seating and standing areas
- Open year-round with heaters
- Central location, easy to access
La Terraza sits on top of Hotel Inglaterra in Plaza Nueva, one of the most central rooftop bars in Seville.
It’s a big space compared to others, which means you’re more likely to find a spot without having to wait, even around sunset.
The views stretch out over the rooftops of the old town, with the cathedral and Giralda visible off to the side. It’s not the most intimate rooftop, but it’s easygoing and reliable. A good place for a first drink or if you’re exploring nearby and want to rest your feet for a while.
I’d pick this one over the cathedral rooftops when I want an easy stop without the usual sunset scramble.
The drinks list includes wine, beer, and cocktails. Nothing too fancy, but fairly priced for a rooftop. There are heaters and covered areas too, so it’s one of the few rooftops in Seville that works just as well in winter as it does in summer.

Good To Know
Head up here before dinner for a quieter moment. It tends to get busier later on as people come up for a nightcap after dinner nearby.

4. A.R.T. Sky Bar
📍 Part of Castella Art hotel
Highlights:
- Also claims to be the closest rooftop to the cathedral
- Cathedral views from an open-air terrace
- Cocktails, drinks and tapas
- Part of a boutique hotel with luxury suites
A.R.T. Sky Bar sits on top of Castella Art on Calle Placentines, just steps from the cathedral, and it’s been quietly picking up a following.
It rivals the previously mentioned La Terraza de EME, as they also claim to be the closest rooftop terrace to La Giralda. Honestly, it’s a tough call; they’re both close.
The rooftop is open-air, modern, and has a sociable atmosphere with well-made cocktails. Drinks are on the pricier side, as you’d expect for a prime cathedral-adjacent terrace, but the setting justifies it.
It’s smaller than some of the bigger hotel terraces on this list, which can work in your favour. It tends to feel a bit more personal than the larger, busier spots nearby.

Insider Tip
This one is still building its profile, so it’s not always as rammed as EME or Doña Maria. Weekday evenings are your best bet for a seat with a proper view of the cathedral lit up at dusk.

5. Hotel Abba Rooftop
📍 Plaza de la Encarnación
Highlights:
- Direct view of Las Setas (Metropol Parasol)
- Small rooftop, casual vibe
- Central but usually not too crowded
- Decent cocktails, not overpriced
This rooftop is part of Hotel Abba Sevilla, right on Plaza de la Encarnación, the square that’s home to Las Setas, that giant wooden mushroom-like structure.
From the terrace, you get a head-on view of it, which is especially striking around sunset when the light hits the wood.
It’s a clean, modern space, not huge, but it’s one of those rooftops that doesn’t make a big fuss about itself. And that’s a good thing. You can usually find a table without too much effort, even in high season.
Drinks are what you’d expect: wine, cocktails, and a few local beers. Prices are reasonable for the location. It’s not a rooftop you’ll stay at all night, but it’s a solid stop if you’re exploring the centre and want a less crowded view with a good drink in hand.

Insider Tip
Although I wouldn’t go as far as saying this is a hidden gem, the bar here isn’t always well-advertised. This means it often gets overlooked, so it’s never as busy as some of the other bars in this list. Just head to the hotel lobby and take the lift up. There’s usually no wait.

6. Terrace Doña Maria
📍 Hotel Doña Maria, next to the Cathedral
Highlights:
- Uninterrupted view of La Giralda
- Traditional rooftop style
- Small bar, limited seating
- Gets busy at golden hour
This is one of the best rooftops in Seville, because it’s all about location.
Terrace Doña Maria sits directly across from the cathedral, offering one of the best views of La Giralda you’ll find in the city. It’s part of the Hotel Doña Maria, and the rooftop is open to non-guests, though it’s not very big, so getting a good seat can be tricky, especially close to sunset.
The vibe is simple and unpretentious.
No over-designed furniture or curated playlists here. Just classic tiles, basic seating, and that view. Drinks are fine, not fancy, and the service is usually pretty relaxed.
It’s the kind of place you come for a drink to catch the sunset before heading into town for tapas.

Good to Know
The rooftop bar opens around 4 or 5 pm most days. If you’re there in summer, this is just as the temperatures start to peak. For the best lighting, aim to arrive 30–45 minutes before sunset to get a seat with a view. After that, it fills fast.

7. Casa de Indias Rooftop
📍 Hotel Casa de Indias, Plaza de la Setas
Highlights:
- Direct view of Las Setas from above
- Trendy rooftop with vintage touches
- Lively atmosphere without the crowds
- Central location
Located right on Plaza de la Encarnación, the rooftop at Hotel Casa de Indias gives you one of the best views of Las Setas, Seville’s huge wooden structure that’s part art, part lookout point, part shade provider.
This rooftop has a stylish but relaxed vibe, with a mix of locals and travellers. It’s not trying to be too polished. Just a solid, central rooftop bar where you can grab a drink and watch the light change across the city’s more modern side.
This one feels more relaxed than it looks from the square below, which is part of why I keep coming back.
The bar downstairs has a bit of a vintage aesthetic and is worth checking out on the way up. Drinks are standard: local wines, classic cocktails, and a few beers, and you won’t need to book ahead.

Planning Tip
If you’re already visiting Las Setas, swing by just before sunset. The changing light on the wooden structure from this angle is well worth it.

8. 7th Floor Rooftop at Querencia Hotel
📍 Plaza Nueva
Highlights:
- 360° views of Seville’s old town
- Calm, elegant setting
- Under-the-radar spot
- Less crowded than nearby rooftops
This rooftop sits on the 7th floor of the Querencia de Sevilla hotel, right on Plaza Nueva, and it’s surprisingly quiet for a place with such good views. You get a full panorama of the old town, with the cathedral, Giralda and surrounding rooftops all in clear sight.
It’s a polished space with a more laid-back atmosphere than other rooftops nearby. It hasn’t (yet) made it onto most tourist lists, so it’s usually easier to get a table here, even at peak times.
The vibe is low-key and grown-up. Think well-made cocktails, good wine, and attentive service without the crowds or loud music. And if you need a break from the cocktail scene for a moment, you’re just a stone’s throw away from one of Seville’s best craft beer bars!

Good To Know
This is a great fallback if La Terraza de EME or Doña Maria are full. You’ll still get a sunset view, just with more breathing room.

9. Terraza Fulton
📍 Near the Alcázar, on top of Hotel Las Casas de la Judería
Highlights:
- Views over the Alcázar and Santa Cruz rooftops
- Less touristy than nearby options
- Quiet, intimate setting
- Good prices for the area
Terraza Fulton is one of those rooftops that slips under most people’s radar, which makes it a good find if you’re looking to escape the crowds near the cathedral.
It’s located just a few streets away, close to the Alcázar, and has peaceful views over the tiled rooftops of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood.
It’s not a big space, and there’s no loud music or trendy décor. Just a handful of tables, a calm atmosphere, and a proper rooftop view. The prices are also a bit more down-to-earth compared to some of the bigger-name hotel terraces nearby.
If I wanted one quiet rooftop drink near Santa Cruz, this is one I’d choose over the flashier options.
Service is usually friendly, and it tends to attract a mix of hotel guests and locals who know it’s there.

Planning Tip
If you’re exploring the Alcázar or Santa Cruz in the late afternoon, this is a perfect quiet spot to rest your feet with a drink before dinner.

10. Skyline Terrace at Hotel Kivir
📍 Hotel Kivir, Paseo de Cristóbal Colón
Highlights:
- Panoramic views over the Guadalquivir River
- Modern, elegant design
- Ideal for early evening drinks
Skyline Terrace at Hotel Kivir sits right on the edge of the river, on the outskirts of the old town. The view from here is a bit different from most other rooftops.
Instead of looking out across the rooftops, you’ll have a view of the river, the bridges and the Triana neighbourhood on the other side of the river.
It’s a small, sleek rooftop with a clean, modern feel. The vibe is relaxed but polished, great for a quiet pre-dinner drink, especially if you’re heading into Triana afterwards.
There’s a small menu of drinks, and while the prices reflect the hotel setting, it doesn’t feel overpriced for the view you’re getting. Service is usually quick and professional.

Don’t Miss
The golden hour light from this side of the river is especially good. Arrive just before sunset to catch the city lighting up across the water.

11. Ático Sevilla Rooftop Coctelería
📍 Corner of Paseo de Colón and Reyes Católicos (access via Lobby Room Hotel)
Highlights:
- Full 360° views over the city
- Indoor and outdoor areas
- Eiffel-style metal design with statement lighting
- Signature and classic cocktails
Ático Sevilla sits at the top of the Lobby Room Hotel, right on the corner of Paseo de Colón and Reyes Católicos. This is one of my favourite cocktail bars in Seville, and they serve up one of the best Old Fashioneds (which is my go-to cocktail!).
It’s a rooftop that puts effort into both style and views, and it shows. The terrace wraps around the building, giving you full panoramic views of Seville, from the cathedral to the river and beyond.
The space is split into different sections: some covered, some open, with distinctive ironwork details and mood lighting that give it a slightly industrial but still warm feel. It’s definitely more of a designed space than some other rooftops, but it doesn’t feel overdone.
Drinks-wise, they take cocktails seriously here. There’s a proper list of classics and house specials, and the downstairs cocktail bar also serves the rooftop, so it’s not just wine and basic mixers.

Planning Tip
It opens at 2 pm every day, which makes it one of the few rooftops where you can comfortably catch the afternoon sun before golden hour kicks in, without having to fight for a seat.

12. Hotel Zenit Sevilla
📍 Calle Pagés del Corro, Triana neighbourhood
Highlights:
- Rooftop terrace tucked away in Triana
- Quiet spot with local feel
- Views of Triana
- Good wine list, relaxed atmosphere
Hotel Zenit’s rooftop is one of those places that rarely shows up in guides, but locals know it’s there, and that’s exactly why it’s worth including. It’s on the Triana side of the river, tucked just far enough from the tourist flow to stay peaceful, even in summer.
From the terrace, you get views looking over the rooftops of Triana. Overall, the bar has a quieter, more neighbourhood feel.
It’s not the rooftop I’d send someone to for wow-factor views, but it is one I’d recommend for an easy, low-key drink in Triana.
There’s no big design statement here. Just a clean, functional terrace, good shade options, and enough space to spread out.
The drinks list leans toward wine and simple cocktails, and prices are fair.
It’s not the most dramatic view compared to other places on this list, but if you’re staying in or exploring Triana and want an easygoing rooftop without queues or gimmicks, this is a solid pick.

Good To Know
The rooftop isn’t always open all day. Check with reception if you’re not staying there, and try for early evening when the light softens over the rooftops.

12. Terrace 1912 at Mercer Plaza Sevilla
📍 Calle Castelar, Old Town Seville
Highlights:
- Rooftop terrace spread across 3 levels
- Great views over church spires and tiled rooftops
- Tapas and drinks available
- Quiet, elegant setting
Terrace 1912 sits on top of Mercer Plaza Sevilla, a boutique hotel tucked into the Old Town. Split across three levels, it has plenty of corners for a quiet drink with a view. Unlike the bigger terraces near the cathedral, it rarely feels rushed or overcrowded.
You’re not getting loud music or big crowds here. Instead, it’s a relaxed spot for a couple of drinks and some light rooftop tapas while watching the rooftops of Seville glow at sunset.
The views stretch out over the surrounding church spires and old tiled roofs, making it a peaceful contrast to the busier spots near the cathedral.
The plunge pool is reserved for hotel guests, but the rooftop bar is open to the public in the evenings.

14. Gourmet Experience Duque
📍 Top floor of El Corte Inglés, Plaza del Duque de la Victoria
Highlights:
- Rooftop food court with panoramic city views
- Casual, self-service setup
- Great spot for a break during shopping or sightseeing
- Wide range of drinks and food options
Gourmet Experience Duque isn’t your typical rooftop bar. It’s more like a laid-back terrace attached to the top floor of El Corte Inglés. But don’t write it off.
The views from the outdoor seating area stretch right across the city, and it’s one of the easiest rooftops to access, with no dress code, no queues, and no pressure to buy pricey cocktails.
I wouldn’t come here for a full rooftop-bar experience, but I would absolutely come for an easy view-and-drink stop in the middle of the day.
Inside, you’ve got a food hall-style setup with wine bars, snacks, desserts, and casual meals. Once you’ve grabbed what you want, you can head outside and take in the view, which includes the cathedral, Las Setas, and the old town skyline.
It’s especially handy if you’re in the centre and want a quick drink or bite with a view that doesn’t feel like a “rooftop experience.”

Insider Tip
Head up here in the late afternoon when most other rooftops are still closed or setting up. This is also a great choice if you’re trying to stay out of the sun. A lot of the terrace is in the shade from late afternoon/early evening. It’s open all day and makes a good pit stop between sights.

Best Places to Watch the Sunset in Seville
Some rooftops are all about the views, but not all of them are sunset views.
Here’s where to watch sunset in Seville if golden hour is your main goal, broken down by the direction and the kind of vibe you’re after.
