I'm Mia Grabowski, a business marketing student from Florida currently on a work placement in Seville through an internship and study abroad program. Seville has been so much more than a place to study and work. Starting, I chose this program to gain international experience quickly, which turned into an opportunity to immerse myself in a completely different culture and way of life. From traveling on the weekends to my weekdays here in Seville, I've fallen in love with the Sevillian lifestyle. Since arriving, I've spent my time exploring streets, trying local restaurants, taking weekend trips to other countries, and learning what makes this city so special beyond the major sights and history. After studying abroad in Prague last summer, the lifestyle is a complete turnaround, from hustle and fast to slow and enriching. I’ve found the best experiences come when you slow down and embrace the Sevillian lifestyle. Which at first was hard for me as a busy college student, go go go is all I've known. As someone who fell in love with seeing the world last summer, I'm always looking for the places, foods, and experiences that make the trip a lifelong story. During my time here, I've discovered that Seville is best experienced through fully allowing your life to live the lifestyle of a Sevillian, don't fight it, and slow down. I'm excited to share my experiences on the way.
